I Grew up in Norwalk & Danbury in the 1980's. So Conrail helped in my interest in railfanning. Alot of action along the Danbury branch back then. I now live in Naugatuck CT. So I keep a close eye on the Waterbury branch now. But little to no freight action is current. So I find myself with my kids at the CSX Cedar Hill yard in North Haven. I have passed on my interest in trains to both of them. I also go to Highland NY along the Hudson river a few times a year. But I video tape more than photograph there. I have been to Selkirk once and got kicked out. Also did the Essex steam train once. But Diesel locomotives are my primary interest. Of course.
